About Co-Cars

Co-Cars Ltd is a not-for-profit social enterprise, formed as a company limited by guarantee (Registered in England & Wales No. 5232497) working on a co-operative
consortium model.

Its objects are to support, operate and deliver car club services and other sustainable transport activities.  Its aim is to encourage changes in transport behaviour, adding to key policy targets of climate change, transport and health. 

Membership of Co-Cars Ltd is open to any person, society, company, firm or association who wishes to use the services of the Co-operative, who provides services to the Co-operative, or supports the companys objectives and has agreed to pay any fee or other monies due.

Being a member gives you a say in how the Co-op is run. Members can vote at annual general meetings and nominate members to the board of directors.

Membership is subject to a one-off membership fee:

Individuals £10 Businesses and Organisations £50

To become a member go to our downloads page and download and print out a copy of the Co-op Membership Form. Complete and post with your membership fee to the address on the form.
