Meet S.106 agreements and enhance your property developments

Co-cars has implemented a number of shared hire by the hour car clubs as part of new developments which offer the following benefits;

  • Meeting Section 106 requirements
  • Provide more sustainable transport onsite
  • Supporting travel plans
  • Shared new petrol/hybrid or electric cars to householders
  • Shared electric bikes as a unique integration into the cycling offer
  • Access to our network of cars across the South West
  • Household vouchers to join and initial free usage period
  • Onsite promotions, 121 training, bespoke leaflets and offer led targeted social media

Shared car clubs are becoming more attractive to prospective new house buyers as everything can be booked on the phone and they get access to a car when they want it without the capital and running costs of a car or second car, or the worry of where to park the car. This combined with bus and cycling routes creates a great sustainable transport option.

We are used to working with both property developers, transport planning consultants and the local authority in order to provide a bespoke solution. We’ve worked on developments with Barratt Homes, Persimmon, and Taylor Wimpey.

We would provide a bespoke package to each development depending upon house types, customer segment and location and we would advise on best locations, car selection(s), marketing and vouchers to make sure the car club is there for the long term.

We have cars currently at 11 towns and cities across the South West all of which can be used by all of our customers whether household or businesses. Our electric bikes are currently available in Exeter but we are working on other locations. For more information on co-bikes click here.
